I have contacted the Internal Affairs Unit of SAPD in San Antonio on several occasions and have been met with ridicule and a sergeant screaming at me.
When I contacted this office on 31 October 2016 I talked to Silvia who refused to give me the names and contact information of the Complaint and compliance board members.
I will fax in the information regarding my case and call to follow up with the fax
Thank you for your help
Dawn Neering
Below is an e-mail sent to the Internal affairs unit of San Antonio
I talked to you in April at which time you were raising your voice yelling that police reports don't get deleted and yelling will not make my case go away nor will it make my proof disappear.
After you told me my reports were active (a lie), I called and talked to Detective Sullivan who explained the difference between generic call sheets and actual police reports. My police reports written by officers are in fact gone. I expected you to know the difference between these two things you however did not. Now you can explain to Senator Cornyn's office all these details.
I recently turned in information regarding one of your police officers following me and when a call was made to the non emergency line and a police officer pulled him over, and another police officer responded to the call all of this was wiped from your computers in an attempt to get rid of evidence of the crimes of one of your officers. There are many witnesses and there are phone records of the call made to non emergency dispatchers. All of this has been forwarded to Senator Cornyns' office and several other government agencies. You can choose to lie to me and raise your voice in my face in a highly unprofessional manner but I don't think it is a good idea to do this to government officials.
The Senators office has also been informed that Captain Smith of the south substation thinks it's ok to accuse me of having some sort of mental illness instead of doing a investigation into his officers' behavior which opens the door for a law suit against SAPD. When I have this and yourself screaming in my face I feel compelled to pursue such a lawsuit.
