I met one of these groups and I think it was his and 2014 when I was staying at the Salvation Army the man that said that he was in charge of the women's home for this Christian group was looking at me like I was a piece of meat made me very uncomfortable and I started to wonder what was happening to these women while his wife was turning her head. Of course in hindsight I realize that he was told that I was a piece of meat and that I was supposed to be treated that this way. And this is a group that was taking women into their home a couple of those women went into the Home2 they weren't allowed to contact their family they weren't allowed to have telephones here and they weren't allowed to watch TV or read a newspaper. That's the first 30 days and after that they could go places they go out to the street and they are collecting money and handing out pamphlets.
One of the young woman they took in was 19 years old and I remember a group of us women went to find her and tell her that it was a cult and she needed to get out of there because Lord only knows what they were going to do with these women they were trapped and it was slave labor had a little bucket standing in the middle of the street collecting money. They weren't allowed to get a job of their own and every time they wanted to go somewhere like a store or to visit family they had to have an escort with them making sure they would come back to the home by prisoners because what they were with paychecks they got an awful lot of government grant money to have this home and to have it filled with these prisoners.
