Danielle Garcia was pregnant while she was in the jail. they took her to the hospital she had her baby and gave it to her family and then she came right back to the mental health unit. I'm not really sure if she'll have custody of her baby when she gets out. I was trying to advocate for her and she told me that I wasn't allowed to use her baby as a source to advocate for her which it made it very difficult. she had been in there for more than 90 days and she had not been indicted so she was being held unlawfully she should have been released they have 90 days to make a case against somebody if they don't do it 90 days then they don't have a case. she had a court appointed attorney but she said that she was having difficulty communicating with that attorney and phone calls were not being returned. Danielle was there on an old warrant apparently she was charged with the unlawful use of a vehicle but it was a boyfriend that let her use the vehicle. she said that she used the vehicle for 3 days and police officers caught up to her she had permission to use the vehicle so obviously he was abusing the system. she made the point to me over and over again that he called the cops the moment she drove away he didn't wait 3 days to call the cops he gave her permission to use the vehicle and he called immediately
