Illegally towing of park autos in San Antonio

Here in San Antonio when you park and forget to pay or you mistakenly park in a no parking zone you don't just get a ticket your auto is towed in a matter of minutes. You are required to find your auto all the way across town. Then you need to pay more than 300 dollars to get your auto back. None of this is legal. They do not have the legal right to take your property. They do not have the legal right to hold your property demanding money to get your property back. This is happening to tourist. When I drove Taxi I was driving people that were here on vacation across town to get their property. The holding lot is in a dangerous part of town. I refused to leave my passengers until they were sure they would be able to retrieve their property from the towing company. 

Would you return to a city that towed you for a legitimate mistake? I can see giving people a parking ticket and then nagging them to pay it but it is extreme to tow them. The amount they are expected to pay is outrageous. The worst Mayor in history is ruining tourism. I would not return if I were the tourist and if it happened to me after I spent a huge amount of money on a convention in this city I would find another city to host my next convention. Julian Castro started these crimes and it has stayed in place over the years all the city officials ignoring the fact that it is unlawful. 

SAPD holding lot is practicing the same unlawful practices. If you are a victim of auto theft and police officers are unable to contact you they will hold your auto for an ungodly amount of money and you have very little to time to pay before it is put up for auction. Each day it sits in the lot you are charged more than 30.00 dollars I think that it is close to 50 dollars now. 

I had my auto stolen I went to Auto Theft to talk to the supervisor and I was met by SGT. Garza at the time he did not work in Auto Theft at all and he was not the supervisor. He said this is the way the system works and victims become victims a second time by the city and their policies. Of course I learned later that I could have gotten help with that situation Garza is a dirty officer who will be indicted for his crimes. 

As all this has happened to me over all these years it is being done to residents and tourist as well. Visit San Antonio at your own risk this is a dirty corrupt city and you are risking your life visiting this city
