COMPLAINTS ABOUT ERIC GRIFFIN JR BREAKING THE LLAW AND ALL POLICIES OF DFPS

Brown; My name is Dawn Neering-Marshall and I have not seen or talked to my children in two years due to the actions of Eric Griffin JR of DFPS records department. My family had a CPS investigation done on my family from November 2012 to February 2013. My Ex husband, Gregory J Marshall (currently an employee of the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign), was removed from the home when he was found to be abusive to his spouse and children. After being removed from our home he went to the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign who instructed him to first go to the police department and lie to officers telling them that it was his spouse who was the abusive one and he was the victim. Then he forced his way back into the home that CPS had removed him from in the name of the safety of the children. This caused the only income the family had to end, because a daycare can not run when a man being investigated for abuse is in the home. Then Mr. Marshall became an employee of the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign. Frank Castro Jr. director of the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign (a former employee of CPS), called Eric Griffin JR in the records department of DFPS and asked him to make the records of Gregory J Marshall disappear. I then received a call from both Frank Castro JR and Gregory J Marshall JR telling me I would never get my hands on those records; they were quite pleased with themselves. Then I received a letter from Eric Griffin JR in September of 2013 telling me that I would not be receiving MY records. I attempted to phone Eric Griffin JR and send him e-mails he wouldn’t answer any of these communications. I continued to try to get my records and went to several consultations with attorney’s and each and every attorney I talked to told me that the letter I received from Eric Griffin JR was a violation of the policies and procedures of the DFPS department and it was also a violation of my civil rights. Each of the several attorneys’ I talked to also informed me that I have a solid lawsuit against CPS and I will be pursuing that suit. I attempted to file a grievance against Eric Griffin JR online and by calling the 800# and I couldn’t seem to get the grievance filed. I then went through his chain of command: T.J. Wasden 512-929-6607 Cesar Flores 915-759-3516 I talked to these two men who I was told were Eric Griffin JR supervisors they refused to allow me to file a formal grievance against Eric Griffin JR, I never received my records and the fact that their employee acted in an unlawful manner was never addressed. What they did do was stone wall me telling me their must have been a good reason he acted against all the policies and procedures of the department in which he works in, I surly don’t see any good reason my rights were violated and I am very sure my children won’t be able to see any good reason for this man’s immoral behavior. It appears the members of the DFPS records department are really good at covering for one another good and bad behavior and in doing so they have lost complete and total sight of the mission of protecting children. After this failed I went to three different state representatives, commissioner Doggett, the civil rights project, the collation for domestic violence, and I am currently talking to my senator. Linda Jackson of the state representatives office assisted me and she took the letter from Eric Griffin JR and my story and when she contacted DFPS she too was stone walled and she was unable to get my records or any formal grievance filed against Eric Griffin JR. Linda Jackson 210-225-2107 and Judy Peterson 512-463-0126 and 210-733-6604, Civil Rights Project 512-474-5073, I have talked to the consumer affairs department several times to file a grievance against Eric Griffin JR Annick Barton 512-438-3210 refused to help me and refused to allow me to file the grievance, in fact at one point MS. Barton told me it wasn’t her job to do this. I am pretty sure that is exactly what her job is and tax payers are going to be every happy to know that these people are receiving paychecks while refusing to do their job. I promise you I will not go away. From where I stand this is not the first time Eric Griffin Jr has done this and if he is permitted to continue in his position he will do it again and again hurting not helping hundreds of children and mothers who are victims of domestic violence. I thought that the job of CPS and DFPS was to protect children but the actions of Eric Griffin JR. have put my children directly in harms way. They are not allowed to talk to their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and they have not seen or spoken to their own mother in 2 years because of the actions of Eric Griffin Jr. because he wanted to do a favor for his friend Frank Castro JR at the San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign. The health and well being of children is being compromised (who can’t defend themselves), because the political games being played in the DFPS records department. If you choose to do nothing to help me with this situation then I would like that correspondence in writing please. At this time I have just received the records I asked for continuously for two years. I also find it very necessary as many people as possible are made aware of what eric griffin jr. is doing (or not doing), in the records department of Austin.
