Monday morning about 10:30 a.m. April 6th

When I was walking down St Mary's towards the foreign agent building that's being worked on diligently and constantly I saw for bike police officers. They saw me I took many pictures unfortunately the phones fried so we'll never see those pictures. One of them turn to the other knowing that I was taking pictures of the homeless and all police officers have been notified that I'm not to take pictures of homeless they're supposed to threaten me and stop me they know that the controversy that I'm stirring up about taking pictures of the homeless. So one of them ask another don't these homeless have anywhere to go isn't there anywhere we can send them? They suggested a shelter and another police officer said no it's shut down. So Haven for Hope is their only hope. And then another police officer said yeah but you need an ID to get in there you can't stay there without an ID. I honestly didn't know that until the police officer said so I mean I've always had the idea when I went there so I didn't pay attention to the fact that it was a requirement many of those homeless people don't have their ID they've lost everything and when you're on the streets things get stolen like shoes and you walk around Barefoot because your shoes were stolen while you were sleeping. So as you can see the police officers have been playing a game threatening me and others that we will be arrested and put in jail for 6 months for being homeless trying to keep them out of sight instead of actually helping them. These were sapd officers and for the first week of the lock up they were gone they were on the streets they took a vacation that's when they're supposed to be on the street during a lockdown and now all of a sudden they're out there making sure I see them doing their goddamn job but they wanted to play games and I took pictures of them playing games and not being at work. I took pictures of them throwing people in a paddywagon simply because they are homeless. And whether or not those homeless people were taking jail or not that's official oppression you're abusing your badge and you're playing games you're not actresses or actors you're supposed to be upholding the law you're supposed to be upholding our Constitution and you are playing games like children. And whether you were just play acting and not actually taking someone to jail for being homeless I have pictures of what you were doing and it's not okay not by me or any other taxpayer who's paying your paycheck and trusting you to be peacemakers and Lock Keeper's only to find out you act like children playing little mind games. Apparently you don't like your job because I promise you it's gone. And now all the sudden it's not fun and games is it now you got to get on that bike and be out there and make sure I see you out there that's what you should have been doing the whole time your job.
So the police officers are well aware that they have nowhere to go they're well aware that Haven for Hope is full Beyond capacity and it's unfit living conditions they are aware that these people need a photo ID just to stay there are you aware that if they have a fever they can't stay there that's not shelter that's discrimination. Are you aware that they have to go back to the streets if they have a fever if they have any signs and symptoms of the coronavirus they are refused medical they are refused shelter and that's how sick mayor Ron nirenberg is actions speak louder than words.
