Smoking Ordinance

I was taking this picture and I had a cigarette in my hand nothing new about that. The officer was talking to these two people about smoking I didn’t understand what he was talking to them about until he walked up to me and told me that a new ordinance have been passed on June 1st there is now no smoking on the Riverwalk. I don’t think he wrote a ticket for these people I think he’s giving warnings out considering we’re only three days into the month. He informed me of the new ordinance and I told him that I would go up and get off the Riverwalk. Does anybody find it odd that I’ve been taking pictures of sleepers everyday that just lay there all day and night sleeping and the officers are worried about enforcing a no-smoking ordinance but they aren’t concerned it all that there’s a lot of homeless people sleeping on the Riverwalk and those people continue to stay there and he’s walking around making sure people aren’t smoking.
